TSCA Compliance
Delta Analytical Corporation provides a number of services to assist clients in understanding and complying with Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) requirements including:
- Pre-manufacture Notification (PMN): The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires submittal of a PMN at least 90 days before a new chemical substance is manufactured or imported. Delta can determine whether your products are subject to this requirement, and if so, can prepare the PMN.
- Test Market Exemptions: TSCA allows exemptions for research and development and test-marketing activities. Delta can advise you whether your products are likely to qualify for the exemptions and can prepare the necessary paperwork to gain EPA approval.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping Requirements: Delta can prepare and file the required reporting forms and assist you in ensuring that your company’s record-keeping is in compliance with TSCA requirements.
- TSCA Compliance Audit Program: Delta can assist you in determining whether your company would benefit from participating in this program and can carry out the necessary internal audits.
- Regulation of Unreasonable Risks and Imminent Hazards: EPA has imposed limits and prohibitions on certain chemicals and classes of chemicals. Delta can assist you in ascertaining whether your company’s products may be subject to these regulations and in understanding what is needed for compliance with EPA requirements.
- New EPA Initiatives: Delta tracks EPA’s new TSCA initiatives and keeps clients informed of information that may affect business.
